Vintage Mororcycle Rally

Cycle-Moore of Interlochen, Michigan, is planning a Vintage Motorcycle Rally June 27th, 28th and 29th, 2008. This if for all makes and models, all sized of bikes 25-years-old and older. Details are still being worked out. Cycle-Moore has been holding motorcycle events for over 25 years, and they never fail to provide a great time. This will be their first Vintage event, and should be a real blast!

Shine up that old iron, and plan a weekend in Northern Mighigan!

See you there, I'll be there taking pictures like a crazy person.

RE: Vintage Mororcycle Rally

Just a short update. Details are still being worked out, but they are definately planning a bike show with categories for best 70's (will probably include the 80's too), 60's 50's etc. Additionally, there will be best overall, and people's choice.

There will be a ride around beautiful Chrystal Lake (this is a GREAT ride, and will probably include a stop at the Point Betsie Lighthouse, and Frankort, Michigan. There WILL be a chase vehicle.

There will be at least one dinner provided.

Cost is still being worked out, but it is looking like $30 for the weekend per person, includes the dinner, camping, bike show entry, ride, basically everything going on, or...

$5.00 a dat to just come in and hang out and gawk at the bikes.

More as it becomes available.

We are definately interest in bringing the twins up for this event. The only problem is that the cruising speed in only about 40mph but they are a lot of fun to ride around town.

I sure would like to see those babies in person. They sure would be fun riding around the park, that's for sure. I'm more excited about the Vintage event next year than the Great Lakes Harley Round-up that happens two weeks after. Have you ever been to the Round-Up?

We have never been to the Round-Up and we have a show in Pennsylvania that weekend. I am very interested in the Vintage event.

The link does not work.

We found the information and have put the event on our schedule. I think that we should be able to make it and bring the X-90s. Thumbs Up

Sorry about the link, it's fixed now. I'm excited you're coming. I am very anxious to see those little Harley smokers. Should be a great time!

RE: Vintage Mororcycle Rally

The link works now - thanks.

We had to cancel going to Americade and Laconia this year due to my schedule. So, we are trying to go on some weekend trips closer to home and Interlochen is only 6 hours away. I have checked into renting a cabin in the area for a long weekend and there are plenty available. We will probably trailer up and bring the Ultra, (3) X-90s and the X-90 trailer.
