Need to clean out the garage.

I have a bunch of parts that need to go.
1 mostly complete SX 125 with seized motor (has been stored outside and will need to be completely reworked).
1 Z 90 motor seized and out of frame (I have two of these engines but only one has a good head, both are missing the side panels that cover the chain).
1 Rapido frame and odd parts.
One other Z 90 frame mostly stripped (I think it has forks but they aren't pretty).

And a lot of small parts for the bikes.

I will have to drag them out and get some good pictures, but I have some old pictures of the Z90 (From last year).

I'm just looking to clean up a bit, so any reasonable offer will be considered, and trades are welcome (guns, archery stuff, guitars, just about anything that takes up less space than these bikes).

I will drag them out to get better pictures, I just wanted to make sure there was interest and I wouldn't be wasting my time.

Sorry, I'm in Charleston Illinois.

Pretty long drive from NH, and shipping just keeps getting more and more expensive.

Um, no.

What you should do is drive to Charleston Illinois, see all the sights (we got the biggest, fiberglass, Abraham Lincoln statue in the world), stop by for a beer or two, and I'll watch you load it all up, just as long as you bring me something cool in trade.

Sound like a deal?

RE: Need to clean out the garage.

Do you still have any z90 parts? I need an air cleaner and a cover for the alternator.

Also, assuming you have all the stuff still...what do you consider "cool"? I might come visit.

Thanks.

Jim

RE: Need to clean out the garage.

I do still have the parts. A tree fell in front of them, and I haven't had the energy to cut it up so that I can move any of them.

I'm not sure if I will have either of the parts you need though. The air cleaner is unlikey due to the fact that I only have one carburetor, and I don't remember seeing an air cleaner. I'm almost positive that I don't have the cover you need, as these were easily lost and most parts bikes are missing them.I do believe I have part of an air cleaner, but I think it is for a bigger bike. I'll have to check.

The good news is, if you do decide to come and look at the parts I have, you'll only be twenty minutes from Charleston Custom Cycles, which probably has both.

As for trades, I'm open to anything of value that would interest me. I'm currently building a black powder rifle, from scratch, so gun stuff is a good thing. I just bought a broken metal lathe, so machine shop gear is good. I'm a fairly decent blacksmith, so hammers, anvils, even scrap metal might interest me. I have archery stuff, guitars, violins, and I really need a drum kit. My interests are very broad. Just about anything will amuse me for at least awhile. I'd be willing to trade for other motorcycle parts, although I don't know why, it's not like I have time to work on the ones I already have. I'll even take antique cars, apparently. Let me know what you have that you want to get rid of and we'll work something out.

The bottom line for me, is that I would like to find a new home for all of the parts I currently have left. I'm not planning to build another bike and the weather isn't doing the parts I have left any good. All together there is a whole pickup truck load of parts, and they need a new home.

RE: Need to clean out the garage.

Still trying to figure out if I can and want to make the trip. Not sure I have anything that might interest you. What if I cut up your tree for you?

Jim
