SS 250 Parts

I have a small box of SS250 parts. I don't know exactly what year but IIRC it was a 1973. Anywho....I have two coils, a mount [I think it is a motor mount] clutch basket, ignition/cdi unit, cdi plate, transmission output shaft, what looks like some single lobe cam gears, some transmission gears, and some misc, unknown to me what they are stuff. No guarantee as to what works, all I can say is that the bike was running before it was taken apart. All parts look servicable to me, but YMMV. This is what was left from a bike that was disassembled by a student at MMI to learn 'how it was put together.' Really a sweet bike before it was taken all apart.

Email your best offer before the end of August because the first of Sept it is going in the trash if not bought. I really hate to dispose of it but am tired of seeing it just sitting there knowing someone needs these parts.

Don't forget to account for shipping as your offer is at my garage in Illinois. Anything beyond that you pay for. I would guess $20 would send it to anywhere in the lower 48, but that is just a guess.

Don't forget......Sep 1 it is gone----forever!

RE: SS 250 Parts

Hi, I am at this time in business to buy a ss250 to repair, but i wont be able to close the deal at least until september, because the owner (the father of a friend) is on holidays till then. As I say, untill then i don´t know if i will need it or not, but if i finally get the bike, i will be interested for sure, so i ´d thank u to wait one more month to send it to the trash. I still need to look at the bike more deeply to know how it is. May I suppose that you can wait until then?
Thank u

RE: SS 250 Parts

I am departing early in Sep and will not return around the middle of the month. Contact me then. Remember that just because the ignition/charging coils are working when you get the bike, is no indication they will work next spring.
